The AHEC Scholars Program, presented by Central Colorado Area Health Education Center, provides unique experiences, mentoring, networking, and professional references for continued education and employment. The program is provided at no-cost to health professions students who apply and meet eligibility criteria.

The program is for two years and is now 100% remote.

Eligibility Criteria

Interest in rural or under-served healthcare
Currently enrolled in a health professions degree or certificate program
Includes, but is not limited to students in medical, dental, pharmacy, nurse practitioner, CNA, nursing, social work, physical therapy, EMT, and public health programs
